First Car Wash in my New Car

Yesterday I drove my (almost) brand new car in an automatic washer for the first time.

I’ve had the car for about a month and I bought it to have enough space to carry me, the cat, and all my belongings around the country during my 4 month mid-life crisis adventure.

I drove the same car for almost a decade, so buying a shiny, new red car has been very exciting for me. I’m not excited about the car note payments that are on the horizon 🫣, but I plan to thoroughly enjoy the new ride every day, even on the day when the car payment will be due each month.

So far, the new car has been great and buying it gave me a couple of opportunities to bond with a new friend over being Mazda girls!

I’m also excited to drive a car that is closer to my absolute dream car: a red Range Rover. Yes, I know that they’re about as reliable as paper straws and cost as much as a golden throne, but I love how they look.

Until I buy a Range Rover, I’ll be zooming around in my cute Mazda.
