A Chill Independence Day

I’m writing from the cheap, uncomfortable couch in my AirBnB in northeast Louisiana.

Today, I had the chance to eat some of my mom’s BBQ ribs and watch 2 episodes of “Judge Judy” afterwards.

It was so nice just to laugh at the dumbasses on tv with my mom. I don’t remember the last time I just sat around watching television with my mom, and watching “Judge Judy” gave us lots to laugh and talk about.

One of the episodes was about a woman who was suing a bum-ass, broke ass man for about $2500. We tried to figure out why such a lovely woman would give a loan to a bum. We couldn’t figure it out, but we had fun talking about our theories. 😂

Before going to my mom’s house, I noticed that a bird has pooped on my (formerly) freshly washed car. Tomorrow, I’ll try to find an open car wash to remove the poop. The car wash closest to me was closed today.

I’m now watching “48 Hours” and just relaxing. It’s so revolutionary to me to not really be doing anything useful right now.

I don’t plan to go out to celebrate the 4th of July. Large crowds in America frighten me nowadays, so I’m enjoying some air conditioning and downtime today.
