Yesterday I had the opportunity to cook for my mom and I made homemade chicken pot pie.

It turned out really good and received rave reviews from my mother and her husband, Sam.

Here I am posing with the almost done fruits of my labor: homemade pie crust and the chicken pot pie filling.

This was probably 90 minutes of work: chopping and stirring and mixing dough and kneading dough.
